Description
This black and white photograph features two men starting the excavation in a quarry. One of the men is squatting and looking at a fossil that he is holding in his hands. A pick axe is lodged in the rock above him. The other man is standing next to him and is holding a pick axe in his left hand. A shovel, a bag, a jacket, and other items are to the left of the men. Handwriting is below the photograph.
