Description
This black scrapbook page contains four black and white photographs from George Sternberg's photo album. The top left photo features the team getting the specimen ready for transport. The other three photos contain various views of the area around the Red Deer River. Underneath each of these photos is an inscription written by Sternberg.

F.-33929-16. After the different sections are wrapped in plaster and burlap empty boxes are hauled up to the quarry and these sections are carefully packed. Field no 16-1916. R.-21, T.-33, S.-6. ; 35152-16. Mr Reed's home stead [sic] [homestead] on the Red Deer river. Looking east across the river. R.-21, T.-32, S.-30. ; 35155-16. The bad lands just back of Mr Reed's ranch house. R.-21, T.-32, S.-30. ; 35154-16. Looking up a coulie [sic] [coulee], note the large slide near the left hand side. East side of river, looking east. R.-21, T.-32, S.-32.
