Description
This black and white photograph features cliffs of brown sandstone. Cliffs and shrubbery are visible on a river bank. The cliffs are high and jagged across their tops and sides. The cliffs also present distinct, horizontal layers (stratification), which are visible on the right side of the rock face. Trees are visible at the top of the cliffs as well as at the base, running along the river. This formation, made of brown sandstone, rises perpendicular to the river. The cliffs are part of the Paskapoo Formation of Alberta, Canada. Handwriting is below the photograph.
