Description
This black scrapbook page contains three black and white photographs from George Sternberg's photo album. The photo on the left features Sternberg dressed in a coat, hat, and dress shirt, holding a pair of gloves and a cane. The top right photo shows a man named P. A. Bungart holding a hatchet up to a tree. The bottom right photo features a man applying pitch to the bottom of a scow in front of a river. Underneath each photo is an inscription written by Sternberg.

Pictures taken in 1915 by George F. Sternberg in charge of Vertebrate Paleontological field party. Paskapoo and Edmonton Formation. Along Red Deer River from Red Deer Alta [Alberta, Canada] to opposite Rowley Alt [Alberta]. I will give the Range Township and Section no when ever [sic] possible. F. before the number stands for Film all others are plates. ; George F. Sternberg just befor [sic] leaving for the field. 1915 Own negative. ; P. A. Bungart taken in Nov. 1915 near Lorain, Ohio. ; 35082 16. Applying pitch to bottom of scow. R. -27, T-38, S.-17.
