Description
This black and white photograph features an Eagle sandstone formation in Montana. The foreground depicts a plain covered in grass and sagebrush. On the right, in the distance, a group of coniferous trees are visible on a smaller hill or outcropping. The midsection of the photograph displays a hill that has the Eagle sandstone formation on it. Several trees are visible at one section of this hill's incline from the left. The Eagle Formation is visible on the right side of the hill, where the grass fades into sandstone. Handwriting is below the photograph.
