Description
This black and white photograph features Dog Creek in Montana. The foreground of the photograph shows the top of the hill, which has plenty of grass and some coniferous trees. The midsection of the photo depicts the valley that Dog Creek runs through. Several trees are visible in the valley around the creek. Beyond the creek, Eagle sandstone is pushing up through the earth, and the Judith River is lying on Claggett shale. Handwriting is below the photograph.
