Description
This black and white photograph features the badlands around the Missouri River in Montana. The foreground depicts a valley. Many coniferous trees are in this valley as well as on the top of the hill on the bottom right. In the middle left of the photo, the hills turn into badlands, which show stratification and are rougher and rockier than the more grassy land in the foreground. In the background, the badlands span from the left to the right of the photograph. Handwriting is below the photograph.
