Description
This black scrapbook page contains two black and white photographs from George Sternberg's photo album. The top photo features the land near the Judith River. The Bear Paw shales are visible in the middle left section of the photo. Near the middle, a man is standing among the shales. He is wearing a white shirt, khaki pants, and a black hat. The bottom photo depicts a coulee near the Cow Island Judith River Formation. The coulee is framed by large, rocky hills, and thin paths or creek beds wind throughout the coulee. A few trees are visible along the tops of the hills. Underneath each of these photos is an inscription written by Sternberg.
