Description
This black scrapbook page contains two black and white photographs from George Sternberg's photo album. Above the photos, an inscription written by Sternberg says, These 2 views were taken in the Cypress hills. Sask. 1914. The top photo depicts four horses grazing in a pasture. At the foot of the hills behind the pasture are a small ranch house and a sod barn. The second photo features the Cypress Hills. On the left side of the photo, the hills are covered in grass. On the right side of the photo, the valley is flat. Wheel tracks are visible along the front edge of the muddy section of the field. Underneath each of these photos is an inscription written by Sternberg.
