Description

This black and white photograph features a large butte near the Sternberg camp in Alberta, Canada. In the foreground of this photo, the ground has tufts of grass and shrub brush scattered about. In the middle of the photo is a large butte, which is weathered and stratified. While most of the butte is steep, the left side is more sloped. On each side of the hill, large outcroppings can be seen in the distance. Handwriting is below the photograph.
