Description
This black and white photograph features George Sternberg preparing a skull of a Chasamosaurus in a laboratory. The large fossil is on a cart with wheels; some of the fossil is still covered in plaster. Sternberg, who is wearing coveralls, is standing next to the cart. He has a chisel in his right hand and is using it to work on the fossil. Other tools are seen on the cart in front of the fossil. A taller work table is to the left. Other pieces of machinery are in the background along the laboratory wall. Handwriting is below the photograph. This image is included in Charles H. Sternberg's book - "Hunting Dinosaurs in the Bad Lands of the Red Deer River, Alberta, Canada Figure 30."
