Description

This item features the cover of a scrapbook. This photo album contains images documenting Sternberg's excavations of prehistoric fossils in North America. This is the cover of the photo album. The cover is black with some fading around the edges where it has turned tan. The photo album has a circular texture that is visible in the photo. "ALBUM NO. 2---GEORGE F STERNBERG" is printed in white ink on a red label at the bottom of the cover. "SCRAPBOOK 1913-1" is printed in black ink on a white rectangular label sticker just above the red label and to the left. "GEORGE F. STERNBERG ALBUM #2 (Early Canadian Views) 1913 - 1917" is printed in black ink on a white rectangular label sticker just above the red label near the center.
