Description
This black and white photograph features an excavation of a fossil in progress. One man kneels and searches the ground in front of him. Another man stands to the left with his hands on hips. The third man kneels to the right and has his right hand on the handle of a shovel; a large pile of rocks partly covers him from view. All three stand in a small area that has been dug out.
