Description
This black and white photograph features the Reiter Brothers murder scene - another side of the house with chickens in the foreground. The Reiter Brothers, August and Otto, were the victims of a robbery in December 1934 in which August was killed by a gunshot wound and Otto survived, only to commit suicide within a year - see "Related Materials" for more information on this horrific crime that took place near Hudson. Mrs. Clara Vincent - 122 E. 8th St., Hutchinson, Kansas ordered the photograph.
