Description
This black and white photograph features a portrait of Dorothy "Dot" Evelyn Mawhirter - she is wearing a long light christening gown. T.H. Mawhirter ordered the photograph. Note: Dorothy ‘Dot’ Evelyn Mawhirter at 10 months. She was Tom and Bessie Mawhirter's first child. Dorothy later married Merrill Hunley and lived in Hudson until she died in 2002. Dorothy is buried in Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John, KS. (From April 1, 2020 email from Michele M. [Keeler] Ohotnicky.)
