Article Title

Pharmacological Interventions Versus Non-pharmacological Interventions on Pain in Chronic Pain Patients

Abstract

The study is a comparison experiment that looks at the different types of interventions to treat chronic pain. The study looks at adult patients with chronic pain using different methods to reduce that pain within six weeks. This study is set at HaysMed Rehabilitation to gather data on adult patients with chronic pain. When studying the interventions used for chronic pain, we found numerous ways of treatment. They are categorized as pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. During the study we found, that an understanding of what is causing the pain and the use of both interventions is the best way to go about treating/managing chronic pain.
