Cape Canaveral, Fla. -- The Atlas launch vehicle with the Mercury spacecraft "Faith 7" on Pad 14. The gantry is photographed at night with glaring search lights. The vehicle and spacecraft is awaiting the arrival of Astronaut L. Gordon Cooper.
