National Aeronautics and Space Administration 400 Maryland Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20546 For Release: May 15, 1963 - Wednesday Photo No. 63-MA9-131 If this photograph is used in advertising purposes copy and layout must be submitted to NASA prior to release. Cape Canaveral, Fla. -- The Atlas launch vehicle with the Mercury spacecraft "Faith 7" on Pad 14. The gantry is photographed at night with glaring search lights. The vehicle and spacecraft is awaiting the arrival of Astronaut L. Gordon Cooper.
