Description

This black and white photograph is located in Halstead in 1900. It depicts the interior view of Abe Dettweiler's butcher shop. A man wearing suit and hat sits on one of three stools in front of the long counter. A man wearing an apron and holding a large knife is standing beside a cutting table. Also visible in photo: large hooks on two walls, two scales, pressed tin ceiling, and glass-front storage cupboards in the rear of the room.
