This color photograph features the Harvey County Fair parade in Newton in 1965. A boy riding a bicycle and pulling a wagon that has a cardboard cutout that looks like a tire. Lettering on the cardboard tire reads: "Don't break Newton's Record. Pedal With Care. 2046 Days Without A Fatality." J. C. Penney store - 601 N. Main, is in the background. A crowd of people are watching the parade.
