Sign on top of building reads W. C. Hinkle & Co. Hardware. Two men are on sidewalk in front of store. One man is in a horse-drawn cart in street in front of store. One man stands beside a car parked on the side street. Barbershop pole far right center in photo. Visible in background: other business buildings, windmills, a large home. Writing on back reads: "Old Hinkle Hardware store, corner Main and West 2nd St., about 1910. People - Left - Bill Hinkle, next to car. Beside fire plug - Al J. Smith. On sidewalk: (blank).
