Description
This black and white illustration features the Nicholson family Coat-Of-Arms. The motto is on a ribbon at the top. The name of the recipient is at the bottom. The shield has three bird heads on it, and a knight headgear is above the shield. A lion sits on the knight . Nil Sister Contra is an antique Scottish Clan Badge. The name "Sir William Nicolson Bart" is short for Baronets. Major-general Sir William Nicolson, 9th baronet, born in Scotland in 1759. He died in 1820.
