Description

This black and white photograph features a photograph taken in Newton in 1888. W. E. Langan studio captured this portrait of six young women and three young men. Three women and one man are sitting in front and three women and two men are standing behind them. The women are wearing dresses and the men are wearing suits. Numbers are written above the heads of some of the subjects. Names written on back of photo: "back row, Marie Krehbiel Suderman, Ed Lupfer, ?, James D. Nicholson, Sue Clark? front row, Lydia Harmston?, Anna Davis, Harry Bowman, Mazie Converse."
