Description

This black and white photograph was taken in Newton and features a studio portrait of one woman and three young boys. The woman is Lottie Hart Nicholson with her sons John, Malcolm, and Warren. Written in ink on frame: "November 25, 1924." Stamped on frame: "The Murphy Studio, I. J. Myers, Prop. Newton, Kansas." Lottie is sitting and is wearing a light colored blouse and skirt. Her younger sons are sitting next to her and are both wearing shorts outfits, while her oldest son is standing behind them and he is wearing a white shirt and tie.
