Description
This black and white photograph features an image from the Nicholson Family Collection in Newton in 1911. Five men, five women, six little boys and three girls pose for a group photo just outside of a frame house. The men are wearing suits, the women are wearing blouses and skirts, the boys are wearing shirts and pants and the girls are wearing dresses. John C. Nicholson is standing second from right. James D. Nicholson is standing on the right. The woman in front of James is his wife, Mary Adelaide "Addie" Graybill Nicholson. Mary Morse Nicholson is sitting on the ground, 4th from left. Mary and David Nicholson, parents of John C. and James D., are sitting, center left. The house is possibly the James D. Nicholson home at 314 East Fourth.
