Description

This black and white photograph features the Carbonating Plant, Fred Harvey Produce in Newton. "This view is of the middle of the produce dock on the south side of the building. The Fred Harvey truck is a GMC. The picture shows Elmer Hanke with a box full of pop. A State Board of Health Inspector would pull bottles at random from various cases to be tested."
