Description
This black and white photograph features an electric engine stopped in the Newton station. "R. D. C. No. 192. Built by Budd Car Manufacturer in April 1952. This one was rebuilt in January of 1958. It was originally a chair car, converted to a baggage-express and chair car. Sold to the Downtown Area Rapid Transit of Indianapolis, Indiana, in November of 1970. Some people mistakenly called this car the doodlebug. An earlier-type car was the actual doodlebug. - Mike Hurley" Full resolution copies of this file are not available.
