Description
This black and white illustration features an office building. This new print of an old lithograph drawing shows Clark's Hotel in Newton in 1887. Building to left: Santa Fe Reading Room. Fred Harvey Laundry building was later located on this site. Large building, center: Clark's Hotel. The Santa Fe Division headquarters were in this building from 1898-1912. Fred Harvey Headquarters and Commissary were also located in this building. First low building to right: Back portion of this building in later years housed the Fred Harvey Commissary. The building was destroyed by fire in January of 1940. Full resolution copies of this file are not available.
