Description
This black and white photograph features twenty-nine women in a group photo of the World War II Walton Red Cross. These women served cookies to the service men that were on troop trains going through Walton during the war years. Some of the women are identified as Mrs. Coughlin, Mrs. Meetz, Mrs. Mills, Genevieve Rowland, Esther Williams, Ella Stratton, Fannie Ring, Mrs. Work, Nettie Williams, Willa Stratton, Mable Walton, Mildred Lantis, Mrs. Brittain, Lilian Ramsey, and Marion Danner.
