Description
This black and white photograph features Sedgwick in late 1800s. Two men and a boy are standing in front of a one-story brick business building. The sign above their heads reads: "E. Giffin & Son. Selz Shoes. Chicago. Make your feet glad." Written on back of photo: "Elmon & John Giffin's store Sedgwick, KS - late 1800's or very early 1900's. I think John is the fellow with his hands in his pockets. The one in overalls could be his younger brother, George. The small boy on the left could be one of their younger brothers but I'm not sure! My father was John Giffen. (signed) Maxine Giffin Unruh."
