Description
This black and white photograph features the town of Burrton in 1920. The ground is muddy and pools of water are in the ditches. Eight electric-line poles are visible through center of photo. Grain elevator and other business buildings are visible in background. Typed label on back of photo reads: "This photograph made by me Feb. 2, 1920 between 3:20 and 4:15 P. M. at the Arkansas Valley Interurban Ry. crossing at Main Street, Burrton, Kansas. Looking North-East from 101 ft. west of the center of Main Street and 26 ft. south of the center of the Interurban track. (signed: Homer T. Harden) Photographer."
