Description
This black and white photograph features the town of Burrton in 1920. A muddy dirt road, railroad tracks and electric-line poles along the tracks are in the foreground. In the distance are grain elevators and other business buildings. Typed label on back of photo reads: "This photograph made by me Feb. 2, 1920 between 3:20 and 4:15 P. M. at the Arkansas Valley Interurban Ry. crossing at Main Street, Burrton, Kansas. Looking North-West from 101 ft. East of the center of Main street, and 26 ft. South of the center of the Interurban track. (Signed: Homer T. Harden) Photographer."
