Description

This black and white photograph features the town of Burrton in 1903. Approximately fifty boys and girls are posing inside a school room. Desks are in foreground. The students and the teacher are lined up near a blackboard. Arrangements of flowers are on a long, low table, and on a large desk. Written on the front of the photo: "Interior Primary School. April 23, 1903." Written on back of photo: "Burrton, Ks, Primary. Olive Challender & pupils. Pearl Hensley, Alta Newman, Myrtle Benson, Ada Smith."
