Description
This black and white photograph features a farmer in rural Harvey County. A man along with a team of horses pulling a small farm implement has walked up a wooden ramp. Another team of horses pulling a manure spreader waits under the wooden ramp. A large barn is visible in the left background. A line of trees without leaves is in the background. Three copies of same photo. Written in black marker on the back of copy 1: "S M Spangler Barn, 3 miles sou. on 81." Written in ink on the back of copy 2: "Grandpa Spangler's Manure spreader." Written in pencil on the back of copy 2: "S. M. Spangler, 3 miles So. on 81 highway. Stamped in red ink on the back of copy 3: "L. E. Hauck 435 East 4th St., Newton, Kansas."
