A photograph of a watercolor painting by artist Mabel Vandiver, former chair of the Fort Hays State University Art Department. This piece shows a small and peaceful pond at the base of what can seen as a mountain. The pond is filled with lily pads and a log floating in its waters. The mountain is shrouded in more and more fog the higher the mountain reaches toward the hazy blue sky
