The Buildings and Facilities Collection consists of primary source materials from the University Archives relating to the planning, construction, and dedication of the buildings on campus. Items in the collection include meeting minutes, memorandums, plans, programs, newspaper clippings, and other ephemera.

The building dedicated was renamed McCartney Hall when Forsyth Library moved to its new location in 1967. There are eight black and white photographs in the program.
