Description
This black and white photograph features three men participating in a cheese-eating contest in Sheridan Coliseum from the 1960s. Three men, two standing and one sitting, are on the gymnasium floor. The man standing on the left has sideburns and a mustache. He wears a light-colored striped shirt with his hands in his jean’s pockets. The man standing to his right wears a short-sleeved turtleneck. His hands rest on his hips. Sitting in front of the two men in a metal folding chair is another man wearing a paper bib reading “Cheddar Cheese” and “Kans Best.” His hair is below his ears and side-swept, covering his forehead. His mouth is wide open with food in it. His hands rest on a metal folding table, holding a hunk of cheese. He wears a jacket, patchwork-patterned jeans, and two-tone Oxford leather shoes. The background is a gym full of people in stands.
