Description
In the 1967 black-and-white photograph is two females observing hanging bougainvillea flowers inside of a greenhouse. The female on the left is reaching up towards the flowers. The young woman on the left wears a short-sleeved sweater with vertical stripes, a bracelet, and has an ear-length bobbed hairstyle. The girl on the right has a dark zip-up windbreaker jacket over a t-shirt and is looking at the bougainvillea with her fellow student. Behind the women is a cinderblock wall with a window and water pipes along the wall. The greenhouse ceiling is only visible in the left corner of the photo, but the pipes run along both the glass-dome-shaped wall as well as the cement wall. There are a variety of tropical plants both surrounded the two students. A plant in front of the girls is a leafy plant with long skinny leaves and a thin spine in the middle.
