Description
This black-and-white photograph captures a crowd of Fort Hays State University students. The photo is taken in a gymnasium. The students closest to the camera are two females and a male. One college woman is dancing and wears a long-sleeved knee-length plaid dress and dress flats. She has chin-length hair and side-swept bangs. Dancing next to her is a college woman with a pixie cut. She has a button-up shirt with light splatter stains across the front, frayed jeans, and black socks. At the right edge, a young man wears a sweater and jeans with his hands in his pockets. The photograph's background captures the large group of students separated into groups to dance. The back of one student’s shirt shows the letters of the Greek fraternity Sigma Phi. Students are dressed in a variety of sweaters over collared shirts, and a couple of young ladies are wearing skirts.
