Description

This black and white photograph features a group of three individuals, one woman and two men, visiting during the reception of the 75th anniversary of Fort Hays State University in 1977. The woman on the left is holding a small notepad while wearing a patterned top, chunky necklace, glasses, and a short haircut. President Gerald “Jerry” W. Tomanek stands in the middle wearing a plaid suit jacket, striped wide tie, thick glasses, and a nametag with an FHSU 1902-1977 ribbon underneath. The other man on the right is wearing a plaid suit jacket and tie, with wire-rimmed glasses. They are standing in front of a limestone wall by an opening. The sign at the top right says “Bookstore,” which indicates that this is in the Memorial Union.
