Description

This black and white photograph features a woman sitting in a metal folding chair, holding a small dog with dark fur and white legs. She is wearing a women's suit, blouse, and dark sling-back open-toe heels. Her hair is in a bun. A small girl is sitting in a chair on her right. This child is wearing a taffeta dress, anklets, and flats. Her dark hair is short and curled. On the woman’s left is a small boy sitting in a chair. He is wearing a long-sleeved pullover shirt, cuffed jeans, and lace-up boots. The dog on her lap is lying down with its tongue hanging out of its mouth. Two empty folding chairs can be seen beside and behind the small girl in Sheridan Coliseum at Fort Hays State College. Behind the group are four lines of bleachers. A chalkboard can be seen on the right-hand side of the people.
