Description

This black and white photographic postcard features a chuck wagon, or covered wagon with the covering removed on the left. The items in the wagon have been removed and are on the ground to set up camp. Another covered wagon is in the background with two horses . Seven men sit or squat in the foreground with plates of food. They are all wearing hats, bandanas and long sleeve shirts. Written text is at the bottom of the card. The number 52 is stamped on the back of the card. (Note indicates the photo was taken by Liberal, Kansas photographer Hal Reid.)
