Camp Stanton Kansas Sept 24th 1862 I do certify that the organization of the thirteenth (13th) Regt Kansas Volunteers is complete and that they have been duly accepted into the United States service under the command of Colonel Thomas M. Bowen. Wm. M. Watts 2nd Lieut 3rd U.S. Cavalry Mustering Officer
