Description

This black and white photograph features six men sitting in front of two tents in an unknown location. Most of the men sit on chairs, while one sits on a bench. George F. Sternberg is seated at the far right of the group. Two automobiles are parked to the left of the tents, while a truck is parked to the right of the tents. Several boxes and bags are behind the men and next to the smaller tent on the right. The bigger tent on the left has a smokestack at the top. A small cave, or quarry, and a rocky gully are in the foreground. Hills covered with grasses and shrubs are in the background.
