This page is from paleontologist George Sternberg collection in photo album number three. The four photos are in a scrapbook page, which is a single 11 X 15-inch post-bound photographic arrangement. The four photos are each a black-and-white picture from the early twentieth century in 1931. The photographs are of Comodoro Rivadavia in the Patagonia providence of the Republic of Argentina. The area of Comodoro Rivadavia, Republica Argentina, is a port-side town, which has dirt roads and a small population. It also has a view surrounding the area of San Jorge Gulf and the sea in which many rock formations are breaking through the waves that approach shore. In three of the four photographs (or perhaps postcards) featured on the collection page a black ink stamp appears in the upper left corner, which reads: COMODORO RIVADAVIA (CHUBUT) (Republica Argentina).€
