This image is a collection of four images from one of several of George Sternberg's paleontology excavation albums. The black and white images were taken in the 1930's somewhere in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming. As part of the identification process, Sternberg wrote on his pictures or in his albums. Three of the four images depict locations and the fourth is an image of a fossil. The first depicts a river surrounded by trees. The second picture is of a rocky terrain near a body of water and contains Sternberg's writing. Lastly is the image of a fossil footprint.
