35163-16. Looking south-east across Battle river Only a small amount of the rocks in this section is exposed being mostly covered with grass and bush, 20 miles north east of Donalda. ; F.-33935-16. Looking north-east across Battle river. I found no signs of the remains of vertebrate fossils in this section, 20 miles north-east of Donalda. ; 35166-16. The valley of the Battle river is very wide and the river its self winds and twists from side to side. R.-15, T.-40. ; 35162-16 One of the best exposures I found along the Battle river. Note abandoned coal mine on the right of picture. 20 miles north east of Donalda. ; F.-33930-16. There were no traces of vertebrate fossils in these beds. West side of Battle river, 20 miles north-east of Donalda.
