Description

This black and white photograph features a section of the Belly River formation. It is a geological formation found in Alberta, Canada, that primarily consists of sandstone and shale. The layers in the formation are visible, and the sand appears very smooth. Along with the formation, some shrub brush is visible in the foreground of the photograph. Handwriting is below the photograph.
