Description
Halstead. Members of the drill team of Buford Post 189, Grand Army of the Republic. Drummer in center is Comrade Charles H. Yeomans, in charge of Martial Music. Mr. Yeomans was the youngest Civil War veteran that homesteaded in Harvey County. He was also a member of the Newton Judson Kilpatrick Post, G A R. / Photo and information provided by Cleland V. McBurney, great-grandson of Mr. Yeomans.
