This black and white photograph features one of the last big sod houses built in Trego County. Located NE one-fourth 16-16-25, Franklin Township, this sod house was built in 1897 by M.J. Harvey and sons. Elmer Harvey is standing in the doorway. This picture was taken about 1911.
