Description

A digital photograph of a mixed media color collage created by Mabel Vandiver, geometric shapes such as triangles, circles, and rectangles dominate this abstract collage. The colors purple, teal, and grey, with different hue variations, are dull, muted, cool colors that showcase against the light tan background. An abstract shape in the middle of the collage looks like an owl lying on its side, causing the whole piece to seem as if it needs to be turned vertically. The body of the owl is a deep purple with a grey shape on its stomach. It has a cream-colored beak surrounded by grey and black eyes. Triangles in a brighter shade of purple at the top of the owl's head look like ears.
